The adult ADHD screener
This is the ASRS v1.1 Part A: six questions the World Health Organization developed with a workgroup at Harvard Medical School and NYU. It is the same set a clinician hands you before an assessment, and in the original validation these six predicted diagnosis better than the full eighteen-item checklist they were pulled from.
Answer for the last six months. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent, and there is no email gate at the end.

Is this an official ADHD test?
It is an official screening instrument, reproduced without changes. There is no such thing as an official ADHD test you can take alone. Diagnosis is a clinical interview, not a questionnaire. What this does is tell you whether your answers match the pattern that made other adults worth assessing.
Why do only some answers count?
The first three questions score from "Sometimes" up; the last three only from "Often" up. Everyone fidgets occasionally, so the bar for the hyperactivity items sits higher than the bar for the organisation ones. Four or more scoring answers is the published threshold.
I scored low but I am still struggling.
Take that seriously rather than filing it. Six questions weighted toward hyperactivity will miss inattentive presentations, which are historically underdiagnosed in women and in anyone who learned to compensate early. A low score also cannot see how much effort the compensating costs. If daily life is hard, that is the fact worth taking to a GP. Not this number.
Do you keep my answers?
No. Scoring runs in your browser, there is no request to any server when you tap an answer, and closing the tab destroys it. Read the privacy policy if you want the longer version.
What about autism as well?
The two overlap enough that assessing one without the other is a known failure mode. The combined AuDHD test runs this screener plus the RAADS-14 and shows both results together.
